Dearest family,
Well I hope all is good and well there. Well hear in Chile we´re seeing some fruits. I know that the Lord always puts us in the path of others that are in need and are going to accept us. We ran into the same person in the street two days in a row and so we finally went over to her house yesterday and found her there. We didn´t even teach lesson 1 but basically talked about how she could remove these feelings of depression that she had. She has lots of difficulties in her life. She basically asked us what she needed to do to be baptized. It was an amazing experience. We´ve also had some amazing miracles here. I know that the Lord is always working with the faith of the people. We´ve been working really hard here and I know that July will be a month full of baptisms. This friday a hatian couple is getting married so they will be able to be baptized in July. We´re also about to help another couple get married that´ve been living together for about 5 years. This mission has been an amazing growing experience. It has taught me that if we don´t love everyone that we meet, we can never help them grow closer to Christ. I love the Chileans and I love the mission.
Well Chile is playing against Brazil right now and I think they´re losing 2-0. That stinks that Chile has to play Brazil. Chile has a good time this year. But everyones drunk already and I think it´ll be fun contacting the people this evening. Well I´m gonna attach some cool pictures from when we hiked up to the top of the hill by our house called Cerro Renca, the one with the big cross on it. Theres some great views. Well take care, I love you guys and miss you alot. Keep me up to date with everything, including the Diamondbacks, I havent heard about them. Les amo, chao,

Dearest family,
Hey things are going good here. So as you know the Soccer World Cup is going on and Chile just won about 10 mins ago and everyone is going nuts outside. They also won their first game against Honduras a couple days ago so they think they´re hot stuff and everyone´s celebrating a lot. Hopefully they don´t party too much so we can actually teach them. But its pretty cool. They take soccer a lot more seriously in South America obviously haha. Well I´m keeping myself pretty warm but its been raining a ton down here. It rained for almost 2 days straight last week and all the streets turn into rivers so its not always easy staying dry. But everything here is turning green and the Andes are covered in snow so Chile looks like a whole different place. Looks like we´ll be getting more rain, its pretty dark and gloomy outside.
So things here are still moving along. Our ward is amazing but the work is pretty slow. We lost four investigators because they weren´t progressing and didnt want to basically. So we´re still searching for those people that are prepared. The good news is that we have a lot of possibilities with people that we´ve met recently. We´ve had some amazing lessons with the spirit really strong but I´ve realized that just because we can feel the spirit doesnt mean that they can. The spirit can arrive at their heart but they have to let it in. And if they arent willing to they won´t feel the spirit. We had some amazing lessons were i could feel the spirit guiding our words but hopefully its because we planted a seed that other missionaries will be able to harvest. This is a good experience for me. I know that when we have harder times, we have to rely even more on the Lord. I´ve learned more about my abilities to grow here in Lo Campino and I am certain that this ward will have a good number of baptisms in July.
Well I´m glad you guys had a good camping experience and that mom could fight off those mountian lions. I hope dad had a great Fathers day yesterday. Thanks Dad for being a great example. Being a temple worker has made an impact on the lives of everyone in our family. I love you and miss you guys. Enjoy the Arizona heat! Chao,

Hola Familia,
Well glad to hear from you guys! I hope that you´re not frying up there. Its not too terribly cold here, its probably just a bit colder than AZ in the winter. We got a lot of rain last night and the Andes got a nice new batch of snow. I´ll attach the pictures from a couple weeks ago.
So there isn´t much news from this week. About a week ago President surprised us and said that we´re going to the temple. We went on thursday. It was an amazing experience. It was nice this time to be able to understand every word instead of like half of it like the last time we went at Christmas time. The temple here is a special place. Its amazing that it doesn´t matter where you are in the world, that same amazing feeling exists in all the temples. I learned a lot of new things.
So the work here in Lo Campino is going forth. We found 4 new investigators this week and two of them are amazing. They didn´t come to church though because of some family emergency but I have a lot of faith in them. I know that they will be a strong family in the church. We´ve had a lot of problems bringing investigators to church and apparently its been like this a while here in Lo Campino. We´re gonna be focusing on that lately. But I know that there´s always people that´re prepared by the Lord. We´ve been having powerful lessons and people are acepting baptism dates easily because they feel the Spirit but they´re forgeting that feeling when Sunday roles around and arent getting up for church. I know that as the people receive their own personal testimony, they will keep their commitments. I´m learning a lot of patience and humility. There are always opportunities for us to develope them more. President May talked in this last conference about not praying to be blessed with more patience or humility of whatever, but to pray to recognize your chances to develop them. I´ve definitely seen the difference that that makes. If we pray for more patience and when somebody comes along and says something foul and we say something back, what good does it serve? I know that as we pray and act, the Lord answers every single one of our prayers. I remember praying to be able to find 2 new investigators the next day, Elder Boyce and I as we planned, we felt we should visit 2 potencial investigators that we had just met. And we went by and had a great lesson and they accepted a date. It was a great experience for me. Now we just need to get these people to church and get them wet.
Well take care and tell Clayton that he´s in trouble for not emailing me and for going to the beach with girls, chao! Les amo

Hey family,
Well bad news, we went to take out our chilean identity this morning and so I forgot to take my camera so I don´t have the pictures of our place to send you. But to explain one more time about where it is basically its just north of the big hill south of Quilicura called Cerro Renca. We live just north of the freeway called Vespucio Norte and we live on the corner of the streets 4 Oriente y Los Condores. I´m sure you can find it. Well to answer your question, I´m doing fine with contact solution but I do have another favor. I think my contact prescription expires this month and I am gonna be one month short of contacts I think. If you guys could buy 2 more boxes that would be great. You don´t have to send them to me now just buy them so you can send them later and before my prescription expires. I bought them for about $10 apiece at walmart. Thanks :) Man you guys are lucky you got the heat. I am here shivering at night. Its pretty ice cold in the mornings.
Well theres not very much news from Quilicura this week. We brought some investigators to church this sunday but they aren´t married and we have to get them divorced from their other spouses and later married again before their baptism. They´re really awesome just it´ll be a project. And so we´re still looking for the people that have been prepared by the Lord. We´re really close to finding them as we´ve received a lot of references from members lately. We´ve had some pretty powerful lessons lately with them members and some investigators. I know that the Spirit is guiding us in our search for the prepared ones and as long as we´re obedient, it´ll happen. So also other news, we have bicycles in our area now which is pretty sweet since its so big. Elder Boyce already biffed it and ripped his new jacket (it was really funny but I still felt bad for him) but the bicycles are fun. We´re working hard and we´ll help help out the ward here soon with some baptisms. I love the mission, it changes lives everyday. Thanks for everything, I love you guys heaps.
