Dear family,

So how'd your trip go? Sounds like you guys had a great time in Universal Studios. 25 years married... man you guys are gettin up there haha. Congrats! You guys deserved a nice little trip like that. I'm gonna send you guys a picture of our little house so that you'll stop worrying. Like I've said, its better than any other of my apartments I've had in the mission. About two hours ago, we climbed up the southern part of the bay where the village is and I got some good pictures. The island really is quite beautiful.

Well thanks a lot for the letter. Its good to hear from you guys every week. This week was pretty good. On saturday, Hno Poncho baptized his daughter who is 8. A month ago, he was inactive. Their family is doing great. We're really focusing a lot in the members here. We had 19 people in the sacrament meeting yesterday. In the afternoon we felt like we needed to visit certain inactive members and two more committed firmly in going to church next Sunday. Our little branch is doing better and better. Looks like we're going to rent a house to have the church meetings for right now because President Chamorro's house is getting a bit too small. Hopefully everything turns out alright. But we're striving for a new chapel here and I think they're going to start building one probably in about 3 months. I imagine after winter. Wintertime here is nuts. Today was a beautiful day but it rains A LOT. I think the average annual rainfall is about 50 inches. The other it rained so hard that we almost couldn't leave. Good thing I have a good rain jacket that doesn't let any water in. A missionary left it in my old area and didn't want it so it definitely came in handy. Well Roberto had a little set back; he has gets discouraged sometime and depressed and told us on Saturday that he wants some more time. I think he will get baptized within the next two weeks. We're still looking for more people that are willing to progress towards a baptism. Theres a lot of potential and we have the faith that some miracles will happen. Thanks a lot for everything! Tell Bishop Chiles hi. We're gonna go fishing right now. Oh and tell the ward thanks for the valentines packages and everything that I got in March and forgot to tell you guys. Well I don't have much else to say. Love you guys a lot and I hope that you enjoy the empty house. Chao,

Elder Webb

ps. sorry looks like the pictures arent working today. I'll try to send more later

Dear family,

Man I can't believe that Clayton actually got married haha. I'm glad everything turned out well. Thanks a lot for the pictures! They turned out really good. Thanks for the thought about making a big cut out of me. Its the thought that counts!

Well I don't have too much time today because the internet is a little slow but its been great here in the island. Its amazing and everyday is a new experience. Last week we went fishing on the dock with just our hands and some tough line. I caught three big ones and that night we ate them raw in a dish called civiche which is really good. Yes that member cooks all of our meals and yes we eat meals without fish but its pretty much always fish. Yes she also does our laundry. She's great. Yes there are stores and we our house is out of the tsunami zone. Escape route?? All we have to do is just run up the island so don't worry. Last week we went to visit the remote upper region of the island and theres a forest of these plants with HUGE leaves called nalca. Wow it was nuts. I'll send some pictures but I also took some good videos.

Well we're working hard and the branch is getting a lot stronger. We're running out of seats in Pres Chamorro's house haha we need a chapel here. We're gonna have a baptism on Sunday and also on Saturday an 8 year old girl is gonna get baptized by her dad that we helped activate and now they have their eyes on the temple! I'll send a lot of pictures of the baptism on the ocean =). We're finding new investigators and hopefully they'll start progressing soon. Well I love you guys a lot and miss you guys. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD on Saturday. I hope you guys enjoy your vacation and relax. I know this church is true and the Christ lives and we all will live with him someday. Chao,

Dear Family,
Thanks for the letter Dad. I'll send you guys some more pictures. Sorry I haven't taken a picture of our house yet but its a pretty nice place. I sent a picture of the sister that takes care of us. She awesome, her name is hermana Ariadne. And about the lobster, I have no idea how you have to cook it but everyone here is expert because they catch a ton of lobster here on the island. And yes we eat our vegetables... haha dont worry mother. We basically eat some type of fish called vidriola. I don't know what it would be in english... maybe Cod fish. But its really good!
Anyways, not too much has happened in the last 3 days. We're working hard down here and having a great time. We had 20 people come to church this week which is really good compared to what it was before. Last year when there wasn't missionaries here, there were about 6 people on average that attended church. There are two families that have reactivated lately and are doing great! Also our investigator went to church this week and really enjoyed it. He's definitely a blessing and God has prepared him for this time. I know that God prepares everyone individually for the moment when they accept the gospel. We are required to follow the Spirit to find them. We've had some great spiritual experiences with the prople here in Robinson Crusoe. They are really friendly. Its very different than Santiago. None of the houses here have fences or gates or barbed wire or anything. All of the houses in Santiago have to be covered with all sorts of protection but here everyone leaves their doors open. Its a nice change.
Well it seems like Clayton's gonna be getting married next week. I love you guys and wish I could be there but I know I need to be here so don't worry. Tell me how the wedding went and send lots of pictures! I love you guys. Les amo mucho, chao,
Elder Webb
ps. so yesterday I ate rabbit for the first time. It wasn't that bad but I think I prefer chicken haha.

Dearest family,

So I hope you guys got the email from the office saying that we couldn't write on monday. They where changing the location of internet server so we had to wait until today. But don't worry, its not something that happens on a normal basis. But we're doing great here! To answer some of your questions... no we didn't get to see conference. They make the dvds of the conference and the send them over here. I think we'll see conference in about a month but I've heard some things and I'll probably look over the talks now on lds.org. Yes we have a phone here. A cell phone actually because there is one cell tower on the island. There aren't very many cliffs here but there are some tall mountains and I'll send you some pictures from when we climbed them last week and took pictures of the other half of the island. Also I included a foto now of one of the rare species that are here on the island. There is a red hummingbird here that doesnt live anywhere else in the world and there are only about 800 the still exist. You can usually see them all the time. I got a pretty good picture of one.

Anyways sounds like you guys have your hands full over there. I hope you guys enjoys these special moments that you're having right now. Here everything is going great! We have been doing quite a bit of service, helping people repair their roofs, their houses and everything. Its a nice change being able to serve a lot of people. Some people are listen to the lessons already. We have a 17 year old called Roberto that just moved to the island to live with his sister thats already a member and has a family of her own. He's going to get baptized in a little over 2 weeks on April 24th. Also, we're helping reactivate a family because their child wants to get baptized and wants her father to do it. So he has some motive to get back to church and work towards getting sealed in the temple. Its been an incredible experience here. We're working hard and I know the Lord will bless here if we work hard and are obedient. We're seeing a lot of the Lord's help already. The branch is really excited and we working towards getting a new chapel here because right now we don't have one. My companion is great! We get along well and we're learning a lot. The island is really beautiful as you can all see.

I have you guys in my prayers everyday and I hope that everything will turn out well these next few weeks. The easter pagaent should give you guys a lot of added energy. I wish I could see it. I love you guys a lot. If you have any more questions just ask and yes I will answer all your questions mother haha. Les amo, chao
